Description
This collection of poetic musings chronicles the daily life of an essential Covid-19 health worker during lockdown levels 4 to 2 — a time of isolation, health anxiety, vulnerability and risk.
Health teams were faced with unprecedented uncertainty, workloads, fatigue, critical decisions about who, when and where to swab, and the mundane practicalities of clean clothes and where to safely don and doff their PPE.
These poems, mostly served darkly with a side of humour, were written to inspire those who were working to keep our community Covid-19 free, and to support local charities.
